Vikas Dewan

CLASS OF 1984 · Technology & business

An IT professional and CEO of Strategic Marketing, Vikas leads a system integration company in Uttarakhand. A Delhi University postgraduate, he has also studied through programmes at INSEAD Singapore, IIM Bangalore and IIM Ahmedabad. Active in SJAA since its inception in 2010, he previously served as Treasurer (2010–11) and President (2012–14). His focus is on strengthening the association’s global presence.

Sanam Kumar

Consulting, logistics & academia

Sanam brings experience across consulting, logistics, infrastructure and academia. His career includes leadership roles at Delhivery, Reliance Industries, Bharti Infratel, Dishnet Wireless and HCL Infosystems, along with visiting faculty positions at SP Jain Singapore, UPES and ICFAI. With a master’s from the University of Aberdeen and qualifications in finance and management, he serves as Senior Director at Freshcore Provisions India (Green Leaf BV, Netherlands).

Dilpreet Singh

CLASS OF 2002 · Finance & entrepreneurship

Based in Delhi, Dilpreet holds a B.Com (Honours) and a master’s in Business Economics from Delhi University. After more than 11 years in finance at American Express, HSBC and LeasePlan, he moved into entrepreneurship across digital printing, hospitality and real estate. An active alumnus for over a decade and former Delhi Chapter leader, he works to strengthen Josephite connections globally.

Harshit Gupta

CLASS OF 2008 · Accountancy & enterprise

A practising Chartered Accountant, Harshit’s entrepreneurial ventures span pharmaceuticals, angel investment and consultancy. Having served the association in several capacities, he aims to reconnect Josephites across batches and geographical boundaries, bringing batchmates, seniors and juniors closer together.

Pulkit Gupta

CLASS OF 2013 · Law & entrepreneurship

Pulkit began his career as a lawyer before moving into entrepreneurship. His ventures span plumbing and sanitary ware distribution, uPVC and aluminium doors and windows, and the jewellery brand Zaraya. Returning to the association, he hopes to deepen alumni engagement and contribute to the institution that shaped his values and professional journey.

Surinder Batra

CLASS OF 1984 · Automotive business

Surinder moved from his family’s timber business into the automobile sector in 2001. He leads ESS ELL Honda and ESS ELL Superbikes, with four sales outlets and 11 service centres across Dehradun at the time of the announcement. His dealerships have received Honda and FADA national recognition. A founding member of SJAA, he previously served two consecutive terms as Vice President.

Jamanbir Singh Sawhney

CLASS OF 2004 · HVAC & entrepreneurship

A third-generation entrepreneur, orator and lifelong learner, Jamanbir works in HVAC with M/s Irani Traders, delivering comfort air-conditioning solutions. His commitment to his alma mater drives his wish to contribute actively to the association and strengthen bonds within the Josephite community.

Avinav Goyal

CLASS OF 2009 · Infrastructure & enterprise

A partner at ACE Enterprises, Avinav works across HVAC, bath and sanitary solutions, elevators, escalators, generator sets and related infrastructure services. His projects span residential, commercial and institutional settings. He is committed to alumni engagement and collaboration across batches and regions.

Prateek Handa

CLASS OF 2009 · Law

An advocate practising before the High Court of Uttarakhand and courts in Dehradun, Prateek brings more than 11 years of legal experience as described in the announcement. He credits SJA with shaping his values, discipline and professional outlook, and sees service to the alumni community as both a privilege and a responsibility.

Pallavi Patel

CLASS OF 2015 · Architecture & sustainability

Pallavi is an architect whose practice centres on conscious design and sustainable innovation. Her work includes Monal Paints, a natural alternative to conventional paints made from cow dung. She is dedicated to making the association more accessible and beneficial for the Josephite community.

Vinayak Agarwal

CLASS OF 2015 · Education & hospitality

An entrepreneur and education strategist, Vinayak launched Checkmate, offering sustainable stays in Uttarakhand. He also oversees marketing, technology and strategy at Universal Academy Dehradun. An Ashoka University graduate in Computer Science with a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Studies and Research, he hopes to inspire younger Josephites to engage with their school and community.

Rachit Khajuria

CLASS OF 2016 · Hospitality

A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, Rachit began his career with ITC Hotels and works with Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort & Spa. The announcement records more than five years of hospitality experience. He credits the values and discipline learned at SJA with shaping his journey and is committed to giving back to the alumni community.
